CP Geometry

3/25/19
     Class launches into Chapter 8. We will be proving triangles congruent through: SSS, SAS, ASA and AAS.


2/28/19
     Fresh off of working with Lateral Areas and Surface Areas, We will be heading into Sections 6-4 and 6-5, which is working with how to find the volume of a prism, cylinder, pyramid and cone.


2/17/19
     This week, we will revisit formulas to find the Lateral Area and Surface Area of prisms and cylinders (Section 6-2). After making sure of students' comprehension, we will move into Section 6-3, which is learning how to find the Lateral Area and Surface Area of Pyramids and Cones for Thursday and Friday.



2/10/2019 - We will begin working in Chapter 6. Remember to complete all homework!



10/10 - Homework page 94, problems 15-19 & 25-27. This will be turned in for a grade on Friday.


9/27 - Class is midway through Chapter 2. Will will more than likely split Chapter 2 into 2 major tests. Parents, please follow-up with your student about completing classwork/homework assignments. Math takes practice and I do check homework for weekly grades.

9/21 -Finished Chapter 2 Section 2-1 & 2-2. Monday, 9/24, Section 2-3 begins. Classwork/homework is given DAILY.


All grades for Geometry are current on Black-Baud!

This week we are finishing up Chapter 1.

Wednesday - we will finish Section 1-8.
Thursday will be a review day
Monday 9/10 we will have a test on the second half of Chapter one.

Geometry will continue testing on Chapter 1 on Tuesday 9/11

Wednesday 9/12, Instruction on Chapter 2 Section 1 will begin. Students will have daily assignments that if not finished in class, will be homework assignments.
